演講題目:Revolutionizing Data Infrastructure: a Hardware-Software Co-design Perspective

演講綱要:The demands of modern data-centric applications necessitate the development of refined system-level design methodologies for data management. The inherent limitations of traditional data structures in addressing the curse of dimensionality lead to the inefficiency of multidimensional data processing. This study presents a hardware-software co-design methodology, specific to non-volatile memory storage systems, to optimize multidimensional data structures for enhancing the access performance, guaranteeing storage space utilization, and alleviating energy consumption. In this talk, we shall cover our recent results on such hardware—software codesigned multidimensional data structures, and reveal potential directions of future studies.
