◆1/12(一)09:30,本系系友、Cornell大學博士候選人王浩全先生於大勇樓401教室進行演講,講題為「Doing Behavioral and Cognitive Sciences for HCI Design: My Recent Work on Computer-Mediated Group Creativity」。
Hao-Chuan Wang is currently a Ph.D. student in Information Science at the
Faculty of Computing and Information Science at Cornell University. He received his BS in Earth Science from National Taiwan Normal University in 1999 and MS degree in Computer Science from National Chengchi University in 2004. Prior to transferring to Cornell University with his research advisor, Dr. Susan Fussell, in 2006-2008, he was a doctoral student conducting research at Language Technologies Institute and Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to the inception of his doctoral study in 2006, he conducted research as a visiting researcher at Carnegie Mellon University and research assistants at Academia
Sinica and National Taiwan Normal University.
Mr. Wang’s primary research interests lie in the areas of computer-supported cooperative work, computer-mediated communication and
educational technology. His recent projects include investigating the effects of culture on compute-mediated remote collaboration, designing and evaluating tools for group creativity and supporting science learning with automated grading and intelligent tutoring technologies.
